PET POT

PET POT is an interactive pot which encourages children to practice indoor gardening. The pot's interior is designed to be the perfect home for a sapling and at the same time, its exterior is designed to intrigue the children’s mind. The pot is equipped with an elaborate system of sensors that detects the plants needs and uses a combination of sound and light based indicators to catch the child's attention. This interactive nature helps to develop a habit of nurturing the sapling.

PET POT includes elements such as led indicators and speakers to make the experience user friendly. The daily interaction with the plant and the act of sufficing its daily needs helps the child forge a bond with the plant. Additionally, the pot adds aesthetic value to indoor garden.

How it Works ?

Arduino circuit consisting of a moisture sensor, speaker, and LED lights is used to measure the water level in the soil and to create audio visual signals. The water content inside the soil is measured based on the dielectric constant of the soil. When the water content in the soil drops below a specific level the Arduino circuit measures it and activates the LED lights and speaker.
